Payment Methods

Secure instant online Credit Card or PayPal payments:
We currently provide instant credit card processing at checkout using the PayPal secure online payment system that enables you to use your:
  • Visa Card
  • MasterCard or
  • PayPal account funds
A PayPal account is not required when using your Visa Card or MasterCard at checkout. If you already have an existing PayPal account, you have the option to use funds you already have in your PayPal account to pay for your order - simply log in to your PayPal account using your email address when prompted during checkout using this payment method.

Direct Deposit/Bank Transfer/EFT
Transfers may be made directly to our Australian bank account using banking facilities provided by your financial institution. This payment type is also known as 'Net Banking', 'Internet Banking', 'Interbank Transfer', 'EFT', or 'Electronic Funds Transfer'. Be sure to choose the direct deposit option at the checkout if you wish to use this option. TheCocoHut's bank details will be emailed to you after completing the order process at the checkout.

Shipping Policy


TheCocoHut uses Australia Post for deliveries Australia Wide and the shipping is a flat rate of $9.00


Shipment Tracking


Your online tracking number will be emailed to you when your order has been dispatched. Please use the following link to track the status and location of your package en-route to your delivery address

Estimated Shipping Times

Most orders are shipped within 1 - 2 business days following receipt of cleared payment, depending on stock availability. Payment clearing may be delayed several days if you choose to pay with Direct Deposit/Bank Transfer/EFT. Credit card, debit card and payments using your PayPal balance are cleared instantly by the PayPal payment processor during a successful checkout procedure.

A situation may arise where a requested quantity of stock may not be available for immediate dispatch. We will contact you to discuss possible substitute items, alternative options or expected back-order wait times. We will regularly provide you with status updates to keep you informed of the progress of your order.

Unattended Address for Delivery

If the delivery address you provide for your order will be unattended (i.e. if no one is available to sign for your delivery) during business hours on a business day
you must either:

1. Provide an alternative address at the checkout such as a work address or the address of a neighbour, friend or relative that will be home to sign for the delivery; or

2. Provide an
Authority To Leave. This is as simple as providing instructions during checkout in the message box provided. For example: 'Please leave at front door if no-one is at home'.

Unfortunately, neither we nor Australia Post are liable for lost or stolen deliveries when an Authority to Leave has been provided.


Liability lies with the person who provides the Authority To Leave. Your delivery will be scanned by the courier as 'left at premises' or 'Authority to Leave - your parcel has been delivered and according to your instructions a signature may not have been required'. If it is lost or stolen it is your responsibility as there is no insurance coverage relating to these circumstances.

Delivery Failure

We make every effort to ensure that you receive your order at the delivery address you provided at the checkout. There may be factors beyond our control such as adverse extreme weather conditions, limited freight carrier services during public holiday periods and backlogs during peak times that may delay your shipment. Please place and pay for your order in advance as far as possible to minimise the impact of any potential delays.


If your order is returned to us due to an incorrectly provided delivery address, acceptance refusal of your order or where your order has remained unclaimed from a freight carrier's depot or post office after the freight carrier has notified you within a reasonable time frame, a $9.00 re-delivery fee will need to be charged in addition to the full cost charged by the freight carrier to resend the order.

Returns Policy

contact us before lodging a dispute with the PayPal Resolution Centre or with a consumer advocate organisation as we are committed to ensuring you are completely satisfied with all the interactions you may have with our website. We welcome and encourage all feedback, comments, suggestions and advice that we can use to improve our services to you, our valued customers.

  • have no debt or financing owed on them so the consumer can have free title to the goods.
If the goods sold do not fulfil any of these conditions, then the consumer may be entitled to a refund from the retailer on return of the goods.

TheCocoHut will accept returned goods only if all of the following is adhered to:

1) we receive the returned product within 10 days following the date of purchase of the product;
2) the returned product is unused, in its original unopened packaging (with any seal or shrink-wrap intact), with any labels still attached, and otherwise in a condition enabling us to sell the product as new; and
3) you comply with the returns procedure set out below

TheCocoHut collects information that is necessary only to process an order. All orders are processed through direct deposit or PayPal. After a transaction via direct deposit, your financial details will not be stored on our servers. We do not collect any account information when ordering via PayPal. However when are orders processed via PayPal, your account information is collected and stored on PayPal?s secure site and is not available to the TheCocoHut other than shipping and email information.

Your information collected for PayPal?s secure online payment system is governed by the PayPal Privacy Policy. PayPal requests information from you on our order form. To buy from us, you must provide contact information (like name and shipping address) and financial information (like credit card number, expiration date). This information is used by PayPal for billing purposes and to fill your orders. If they have trouble processing an order, they will use this information to contact you by email.
